Why Fresh Matters to Us

Fresh flowers should be exactly that - fresh.

Because we grow many of our own flowers, we have the privilege of picking what we need when we need it, rather than relying on flowers sitting around waiting to be sold.

It's one of the things we love most about being a flower farm and florist, and it's a big part of how we work at Botanical Love.

From Our Farm to Your Vase

We operate our flower business around the native flowering season, which means we can work with what is naturally growing on our farm rather than relying heavily on imported flowers.

Most of the flowers and foliage in our arrangements are grown here at Botanical Love. During our busiest times such as Mother's Day, we may also supplement from a local sustainable flower farm nearby.

This means we can hand-select the stems that go into each arrangement and choose flowers that are looking their best.

Picked for Your Order

We don't make up bunches and leave them sitting on a shelf waiting for someone to take them home.

When your order comes in, we pick the flowers fresh from the farm and create your arrangement with you in mind.

That means your flowers haven't been sitting around for days before they reach you. They're picked as close to your order as possible, so you can enjoy them at their freshest.

Fresh is best

For us, freshness isn't just about how a flower looks when you first receive it. It's about the whole process — growing it, picking it, selecting each stem and creating your arrangement with care.

We think flowers are at their best when they're picked fresh, and that's how we want you to experience them.
